Working together for social justice

Last week two members of our congregation had an inspiring week of training with London Citizens, an alliance of local community organising groups. Hannah and Azariah met leaders of other faith communities from all over the country who were working together for social justice. The training included how to motivate people towards common goals and hearing positive stories of change in the areas of housing, immigration and fairer wages. It also included building alliances between the faith, education and employment sectors.

In the coming months everyone at St Francis will have the opportunity to receive Citizens UK training and get involved in joining with others to make a difference locally, nationally and globally.
